Today, the
garden is now under the care of their son Kwei-Yu Chu, and
it continues to grow with its original vision in mind. Our
goal is to make Lotus Gardens the center for Chinese culture
in the Central Valley.

Featured Locations:
Lotus Viewing Area
¡V A favorite of photographers, this large open space is
surrounded by lotus ponds. Whether strolling under the sun
or sitting beneath a willow, this is where you can admire
our namesake flowers. A perfect spot for large events or
weddings!
¡§Ai Lian¡¨ (Lotus Lover) Gazebo ¡V The oldest
structure on the property, the Gazebo is an ideal resting
spot, where you can enjoy a cooling breeze and behold
picturesque views across our natural lake. The sign over the
entrance was carved from Chinese characters written by a
descendant of Confucius for Lotus Gardens!

Guan-Yin Temple
¡V Guan-Yin is celebrated as a symbol of benevolence in
Chinese culture. Constructed from a huge wine barrel, this
building shelters a marble likeness of Guan-Yin. The temple
was blessed by a 103-year-old monk at its opening ceremony.
Teahouse ¡V
After a walk in the summer sun, you can enjoy an iced or hot
beverage in this rest area. We feature a variety of flower
teas and simple desserts as well as a plethora of gift
ideas. Come take a look!
¡§Yu-Ling¡¨ Pavilion and
Rose Garden ¡V The rose is the queen of flowers.
Have a seat in the cool shade of this structure and let the
roses and cypress trees keep you company.
Lotus
Flower Learning Center ¡V Newly added this
year, this wall of information will house essential
knowledge on lotus flowers and water lilies. We will
continue to update this area as new information becomes
available!
¡¯ Lotus Gardens requires a great
deal of effort to maintain and make available to the public
to enjoy. Please respect the garden and do not disturb any
of the flowers or trees and do not enter restricted areas.
Removing anything from the garden is prohibited. Thank you
for your cooperation.
